Elementary parents, there will be a mandatory parent volunteer meeting for anyone interested in helping this year. The date will be October 1. There are two sessions to choose from one at 9am and the other at 2pm. Please call the Elementary Office to RSVP.

In addition, we are also looking for about 8-10 parents and community members who would be willing to serve on our Strategic Planning Committee. The Strategic Planning Committee will review the survey results and help us define our direction and goals. We will then collectively develop a plan to achieve them.

JISD originally had a substitute teacher training scheduled for September 12. We are going to have to reschedule this training. We will keep you up to date on when that will be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Board of Trustees recognized Ava Saunders and Gabryelle Mata for placing 8th at nationals in the FCCLA competition coached by Mrs Garcia. They also recognized several drivers from our transportation department. Michelle Saenz, Paul Steffek, and Rosie Gonzalez. We are proud of our staff and students!!
