Are you interested in nominating your student for the Jourdanton ISD Gifted and Talented Program, but are not quite sure if your student is a proper candidate? If so, we are going to have a parent meeting to help you navigate any of those nomination questions. Please join us on Wednesday, October 2nd at 5:30pm in the Jourdanton JR High Library. We will have a presentation to help with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there.

Ms. Key's 7th grade Career Exploration classes and gracious community members had a phenomenal day of mock interviews at the Jourdanton Junior High! These students prepared résumés and cover letters, as well as practiced interview etiquette, posture, and eye contact in preparation for this event. The goal of these interviews were to allow students the opportunity to practice what a real interview would be like, as well as gain exposure to the variety of occupations out there. Our community members represented industries such as, oil and gas, medical field, mechanics, welding, law enforcement, military, administration, education, real estate, digital design, entrepreneurship, and more. What a great day at JJHS!
